The Technology

AquaBIT combines Electrical Impedance Tomography, multi-frequency bioimpedance, artificial intelligence and water-assisted signal acquisition to create a completely new approach to whole-body tissue imaging.

How AquaBIT Works

AquaBIT transforms a simple, non-invasive measurement into a detailed three-dimensional map of tissue composition. The patient is immersed in a water-filled chamber, where a series of safe, low-intensity electrical currents pass through the body. Highly sensitive sensors detect subtle voltage differences generated by tissues with different electrical properties, such as muscle, fat, healthy bone, and pathological ossification. Advanced artificial intelligence algorithms reconstruct these signals into a high-resolution 3D tissue map, providing clinicians with a comprehensive clinical report that enables early disease detection, longitudinal monitoring, and more informed therapeutic decision-making—all without radiation or invasive procedures.
